Ugandan Parliament has expressed concern over a medical doctor’s health after contracting Hepatitis B on duty. In the parliamentary seating Members of Parliament says Dr. Balikuddembe for two years has been battling to save his life with little help from the Ministry of Health. He was attached Kawempe Referral Hospital locally known as kiruddu where he got the disease due alleged lack of protective gears in hospital. A section of members of parliament opposed the idea of contributing money to treat the doctor and demanded government to fix health system. They said people with health challenge will make it a routine to run to parliament for help yet their is a government that must serve diligently its citizens.
